Holi is a time traditionally given to overindulgence as Holi sweets, drinks office parties and family get-togethers. Maybe your diet plan is pretty good most of the time, as you expect, but the festive season especially Holi is pretty tricky when it comes to subjects like controlling diet and maintaining your fitness with eating healthy foods. A great filling meal that will hold you over until your event should include both protein and fiber for extra staying power and you will be able on your way in maintaining your fitness.

2) Pay Attention

It is easy to overeat at holiday gatherings since there is usually a variety of a food. Eat slowly and listen to your hunger cues. If you are truly not hungry, avoid second helpings.

3) Limit your liquid calories

If you want to have one or two cocktails, choose drinks that you can sip slowly and If you are looking for a mixed drink then lime water with black salt, and seltzer water is another great low-calorie option and help you in maintaining your fitness.

4) Stay Active

Try to incorporate time with family and friends by looking into an activity you can all enjoy. Think this might be out of your comfort zone? This can be a fun event not focused around food that allows you to spend time with those you love and in this way you will be easily on your way in maintaining your fitness.
